Future Vision (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates an eyewear ordering service for customers in Kanpur, India. This policy explains what information we may collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Important: We collect only information reasonably needed to process orders, delivery, customer support, and service requests.

1. Information you may provide

Name and mobile number.
Email address, when you choose to provide it.
Delivery address, city, and pincode.
Order details, including products, selected lens/contact-lens options, quantities, prices, and order status.
Prescription information or images when you choose to provide them for an eyewear order or consultation.
Messages you voluntarily send through WhatsApp or other customer-support channels.

2. How we use information

To create, process, confirm, and deliver your order.
To communicate about orders, support, delivery, and service requests.
To manage stock, order status, and customer service records.
To prevent misuse, fraud, or unauthorized activity.
To meet legal, accounting, tax, or dispute-resolution obligations where applicable.

3. Payments

Cash-on-delivery orders are recorded in our order system. If an online payment provider is enabled for a transaction, payment processing is handled by the relevant payment provider under its own privacy terms. Future Vision does not ask customers to send card PINs, OTPs, or banking passwords through WhatsApp.

4. Storage and service providers

Order and account-related information may be stored using third-party infrastructure such as Supabase and may be processed through delivery, communication, or payment providers when those services are used. We aim to limit access to information to what is necessary for the service.

5. Prescription information

Prescription details are used only to support eyewear selection and order processing. Please share only information necessary for the requested service. Do not send another person’s medical information unless you are authorized to do so.

6. Cookies and local storage

The website/PWA may use browser local storage for app settings, cart contents, and setup information. This is used to keep the app functioning consistently on your device.

7. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above. Certain transaction or business records may need to be retained for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution reasons.

8. Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information associated with your Future Vision interactions, subject to information we may be required to retain by law.

9. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, use the WhatsApp contact option available in the Future Vision app/website and include your name, mobile number, and order ID (if applicable).
